ARTIST BIO
I am a self-taught photographer. My work is both documentary and nonfigurative/abstract. Fascinated with how the structure of light and line affect perception, how they bring still images to life, I try to capture these elements through the lens. I have mounted a dozen exhibitions of my photography including a solo show at the Hunterdon Art Museum in New Jersey in 2010. I curate photography and art exhibtions and write articles, essays and poetry for professional and literary journals. I teach world history in the Liberal Studies Department at the Maine College of Art.
